Our Policies

SIDEKICK FOR PETS does not share any personal information we receive from you for any reason including selling or renting your personal information. Your personal information is used for internal purposes; such as confirming and tracking your orders. However, we would like to send you occasional updates on new products you might be interested in reviewing. If you would prefer not to receive these notices, just let us know by sending us an e-mail or "opting-out" on the e-mail you received from us.

Our highest priority is the security of your personal information. We use sophisticated encryption technology called Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) to ensure the security of your personal information and credit card number when placing an order on-line. When ordering on-line your information is sent directly to our authorizing bank and is not stored.

We will make every effort to help you choose the correct size SIDEKICK®, and SIDEKICK SEAT BELT for your pet. We have made substantial efforts to inform you about the fabrics used, colors available and charts for sizing to make sure your purchase is a wonderful experience. If in the event you choose to return the item, please contact us within fourteen (14) days from date you received it. It must be returned in the original packaging (including all protective wrapping, tags, instruction sheets and documentation).

You may exchange a product or receive a refund but only after obtaining a Return Authorization (RA) number from us. This may be obtained by sending your request via e-mail, fax or phone (see "Contact Information"). Returns or exchanges must be received ten (10) business days from the date that the RA number is issued. Return shipping charges are nonrefundable. We recommend shipping returns with insurance and delivery confirmation for tracking purposes. We are not responsible for any packages lost in shipping. We reserve the right to determine if a product has been used or damaged.

Non-refundable items include those that have been used, washed, damaged or monogrammed. Gift Certificates are also nonrefundable.

Items that have been destroyed or damaged by "destructive" doggie behavior will not be acceptable for a refund or exchange. Please make sure your dog is supervised while first using our very durable, yet not indestructible, products.

Shipping charges are non-refundable due to incorrect or undeliverable addresses, refused or unclaimed shipments, or recipient's absence. Shipping and handling fees will be deducted from any amount credited to the account for the returned item. Shipping and handling charges will be applied on re-shipments. All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

COD returns and packages without a valid RA number (within 10 days of receiving an RA number) on the outside of the box will be refused.

We do not target children, recognizing that they may not be able to make informed or authorized decisions when purchasing on-line.

All products sold on the SIDEKICK FOR PETS WEBSITE are patented, patent pending, and trademarked.

We believe firmly in manufacturing our products in the land where we live. Not only does the quality meet our high standards, but we want to keep jobs at home and work closely with the wonderful people who help us make great ideas become a reality. Also, many of our products use recycled "GREEN" components, i.e. padding is made from recycled plastic bottles.

Use our website to place a secure credit card purchase. You may also place an order by printing out our Order Form, filling it in, and returning it to our mailing address or FAX your order form to (949) 715-7506 (see Contact Information, below).

We accept credit card payment through PayPal. We will also accept Cashier's Checks (send to the address in "Contact Information"). And, personal checks (items will be shipped after check has cleared).

Sales tax will be charged to those products shipped within the state of California (9.25%). All other states and countries are tax-exempt.

We process orders Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays. We ship using UPS, USPTO and FEDEX Ground. Multiple ordered items may ship in separate boxes but when possible, we will combine items.

Most items are shipped within 3-7 days. Please allow up to 14 days for receipt. Please allow 14 days for receipt before contacting us for tracking information.

For expedited shipping, please contact us and we will do whatever we can to accommodate you.

Outside of the continental U.S additional shipping charges will be required. These fees will cover any taxes or duties so that you will not be responsible for any additional fees once your package arrives at your door.

Sometimes we are temporarily out of stock, particularly between "runs". When this happens we will e-mail you and give you the date we expect your products will be shipped. You will not be charged until your item(s) are shipped.

"Special Order" items will sometimes require additional manufacturing time. In this event, we will notify you via e-mail and let you know when we expect your products to ship.
